Announcements – June 3

Adult Forum: due to the parish picnic, there will be no adult forum this morning. This class continues next Sunday, 9:15 a.m. in the parish hall, with the showing of Diarmaid MacCulloch’s DVD, The History of Christianity, Part 2. This DVD summarizes the intellectual and social background of Christianity in the Classical and Jewish worlds.

Today, Annual Parish Picnic! This morning, St. George’s will gather at Toddhall for the church picnic. This event begins with the Holy Eucharist, 11:00 a.m. in St.Cecilia’s Chapel. Lunch follows in Cranmer Hall. Hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish and/or a dessert to share. Fun activities have been planned for children. Dress casually, bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs, and enjoy this time of fun and fellowship!
