Mary Ann Karch

Saint George’s expresses sympathy to the family of parishioner Mary Ann Karch, who died on January 28. She was the wife of William Karch. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 31 at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home.

A Scout is Reverent

“A Scout is Reverent.”  This is the 12th point of the Scout Law where each scout reaffirms their belief in God. St. George’s will collect a special offering to support the Protestant Committee on Scouting following the services on Scout Sunday, February 4th. The offering will help cover expenses of the Committee which provides worship leaders for weekend and long term camps, promotes and supports the Scouting Religious Awards program, and provides annual recognition of all scouts who earn their Religious Award. Please help us support this important ministry.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

Get ready from some good fun, food, and fellowship! The youth of Saint George’s will sponsor the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake dinner on February 13. All-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage will be served. This event takes place in the parish hall from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge but a free will offering will be taken. The offering is contributed to Saint George’s Lenten Offering.
