Today – Christian Education

Sunday School – Today, Sunday School is in recess.  It will reconvene next Sunday, November 12. 

Adult Forum – The Adult Forum is offered on Sunday mornings, 9:15 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The forum will not meet this morning. It will reconvene next Sunday with Guest presenter and member Nancy Friesen. Nancy will lead a discussion on Mental Health Awareness and the implementation of Spiritual Disciplines.

The Lambeth/African Bible Study – Saint George’s Lambeth Study convenes in the conference room, 9:15 a.m.. This meditative study focuses on the Gospel of the day.

All Saints’ Breakfast
November 5, 2017

9 a.m.
This morning, join your Saint George’s family for a special parish-wide breakfast. During this event, a presentation will highlight the future of our parish and inaugurate the 2018 Stewardship Campaign. Breakfast will be provided by the Vestry. There will be no Sunday School; however, special activities are planned for our children.

Saint George’s Mass
Today, we will sing St. George’s Mass, written by Ann Dunn, former organist and choir director of St. George’s – a ‘Saint’ of our parish. This work was written for the newly composed Rite Two, introduced to St. George’s Parish, and published in 1977. Music for Saint George’s Mass can be found in the back of the hymnals.

Pantry Committee Meeting
November 12
A special meeting of the Pantry Committee is scheduled for November 12 at noon. This is a planning meeting for the upcoming food drive on November 18. Please watch the announcements for the location of this meeting.

The WEDG (Women’s Ecumenical Dining Group) will be gathering for LUNCH at Tavern on Main at 11:00 am (note start time), Wednesday, November 15th. Tavern on Main is located at 301 East Main, Belleville, phone 233-6246. There is on-street parking, or a small lot in back. Please call the church office, 233-6320, for reservations (head count). Ladies, come on down to this eatery, only a few blocks from church! This “Dutch Treat” meal is order off the menu, or partake of the salad/soup and pizza bars. So if you ladies are 18 or above ….. Come for Good Fun, Good Food, and Good Conversation.

Pumpkin Palooza Bake Sale
The Saint George’s/Saint Mark Food Pantry is holding a bake sale on Sunday, November 12. Proceeds will go to the Food Pantry. Everyone is encouraged to bring a pumpkin based item; however,any baked goods may be contributed. Contact either church office for more details.
