Acolytes & Sunday School Teachers
Saint George’s Parish is seeking new acolytes! This is a great opportunity for kids and adults to give back to the church by assisting at the Eucharists. A meeting and training session is scheduled for Sunday August 13th. For additional information or to volunteer, please call or email Nathan Scott at 618-477-3050,

Do you love telling stories? Do you enjoy watching children grow in their faith? Do you love to laugh? If you answered yes, then you would love to be a part of our awesome Sunday School. Our Sunday School needs more teachers. We use the Godly Play curriculum. This program makes teaching meaningful with very little planning on your part. If you are interested please call or email Mae Scott at 618-477-3046 or

Read the Forward Day by Day
Forward Day by Day is a booklet of daily inspirational meditations reflecting on a specific Bible passage, chosen from the daily readings as listed in the Revised Common Lectionary or the Daily Office from the Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer. The meditations are rich in substance and offer a wide range of witness and experiences. Each month’s meditation is written by a different author. The August-October edition is available in the Canterbury Room.
