Announcements – March 19

Easter Flowers

At Easter, the gift of flowers in honor or memory of a loved one and/or a special occasion is a wonderful way to give Glory to God. Envelopes can be found in the pew card holders. If you would like to donate Easter flowers, please fill out the dedication on the special envelope, marked “Flower Offering,”  when you secure your donation. Envelopes can be placed in the offering plate or mailed to the parish office. Your gift will be acknowledged in the service leaflet.

Be a Volunteer!

The following opportunities request help for the Parish. Consider and pray about how you can help.

Parish Work Day – Periodically, a day is set aside to spruce up our parish home. This is a perfect time for parishioners and families to make new friends and work together. The next Parish work day is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 9am – 12pm. Come share your time, enjoy good fellowship, and beautify our grounds for Easter.

Lawn Care – During the “Growing Season,” Saint George’s Parish needs volunteers to mow and trim the lawn. This duty is shared with Saint Mark Lutheran Church on alternate months. If you would like to volunteer, Contact Brian Maves at or 618-567-8924. You can also contact Henry Evans in the parish office.”
