Welcome to St. George’s. We are glad you have chosen to worship with us today! Please sign our guest book and join us for refreshments and fellowship after each service.
Welcome to the Rev. Dr. Arnold Hoffman, who is preaching and celebrating this morning while Fr. Dale & Jody are out of town.
Welcome to Peggy Anderson, who is playing the organ for us this morning while Nancy Ypma is in California with her mother.

Food Pantry – Your donations of canned or dry goods for the pantry are always welcome and encouraged. You may bring them on Sunday mornings or take them to the office during the week. Small, laminated lists of regularly needed items are available in the tract rack in the narthex, and you are welcome to take a “Red Bag” to carry your donations. Thank you!
Yard Help Needed – We are looking for a few more volunteers to mow the church lawn, one week or more, during July and September. If you can help or would like more information, please contact Joe Hooten at (618) 567-9693, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Flower Calendar and Sanctuary Light – There are still a few dates available on the Flower Calendar for anyone who wishes to sponsor flowers in honor or memory of a person or event. Flowers are $40 a Sunday. And there are many Sunday’s available for someone to sponsor the Sanctuary Light, which is only $5 a week. Signup sheets are on the bulletin board in the narthex.
Sunday School Teachers – Sunday School is looking for teachers for the 2015-2016 school year. Our Godly Play curriculum makes teaching easy! There are two positions; Storyteller and Door Person. The Storyteller instructs the students using the Godly Play Lesson provided. The Door Person helps greet the students, set up snack, and helps students during their creative response time. We meet each Sunday in the Chapel at 9:00 am. If you are interested in joining us or learning more about teaching, please contact our Sunday School Coordinator Mae Scott at email@example.com.
How to receive Communion – This is Christ’s Body and Blood. Receive the consecrated wafer in your hands and raise it to your mouth, or receive it directly on your tongue. (A gluten-free host is available – let us know if you need this option.) Assist in guiding the Chalice to your lips. If for personal reasons such as illness you wish to receive by “intinction”, leave the host on your palm and the Chalice Bearer will pick it up, intinct and place it on your tongue. Do not intinct yourself – this prevents fingers touching the wine. If you do not wish to receive the chalice, cross your arms over your chest.
If you would like unction (anointing and healing prayer by the priest), please indicate this at the altar rail. Members of the Order of St. Luke are available for additional prayer for those who wish.
Restrooms are on the lower level. The stairway is just off the entrance and an accessibility lift is located in the narthex.
Child Care is available for infants to age six from 9:00 – 11:45 am. The Nursery is at top of the stairs in the Sunday School Building.
Assistive listening devices and large print copies of the Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal selections are available in the narthex.
