The Lambeth Bible Study, an experiential and meditative approach to scripture, meets in the Conference Room at 9:15 each Sunday. Everyone is welcome to take part.

Food Pantry – Thirteen red bags and nine or ten grocery bags of food were brought for the Food Pantry on Easter Day.  Thank you for your generosity!  Your gifts go a long way to help our neighbors in need.  Red bags are available in the narthex under the window.  If you wish to purchase one, speak to David Buckley or Betsy Rogers.

Students from School District 118 will deliver donations from their food drive to our Pantry on Friday, April 17, at 9:00 am. We need a few folks to help us sort and put away these items. Can you give a few hour of your time to assist this important ministry?  Please let a member of St. George’s Community Service Commission, one of the clergy, Judy Jacobs, or Ed Parsons know if you can help!

How to receive Communion – This is Christ’s Body and Blood. Receive the consecrated wafer in your hands and raise it to your mouth, or receive it directly on your tongue. (A Gluten Free host is available – let us know if you need this option.) Assist in guiding the Chalice to your lips. If for personal reasons such as illness you wish to receive by “intinction”, leave the host on your palm and the Chalice Bearer will pick it up, intinct and place it on your tongue. Do not intinct yourself – this prevents fingers touching the wine. If you do not wish to receive the chalice, cross your arms over your chest.
