The Flower Calendar still has dates available in May and June as well as later in the year. Flowers are $40 per Sunday, and two people can share a date if they wish. You can also sponsor the Sanctuary Candle for $5 on a Sunday.  Both calendars are posted in the parish hall.

The SHINE Eucharist is the first Saturday of every month, and everyone is welcome to join us May 3 at 6:00 pm. Pastor Brian is the celebrant and preacher, and music is from the Joy book. Everyone is welcome.

WEDG (Women’s Ecumenical Dining Group) will meet this Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 pm at the Swansea Family Restaurant (Hwy 159 just south of the MetroLink). All women 18 and above are invited to come for Good Fun, Good Food, and Good Conversation! We need a head count, so please call 233-6320 and let us know you’re coming.

Our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Daniel Martins, will be with us Sunday May 11.  Bishop Daniel will preach and celebrate at both services, and will talk about his own faith journey during the adult forum.

Join us for Trivia Night on Saturday, May 17.  Cost is $15 per person, and teams are 6-8 people each. Doors open at 5:00 pm and Trivia begins at 6:00.  Bring your own snacks, and popcorn and soda will be provided. Please make reservations by calling 618-363-1936 or e-mail StacyMiller40@hotmail.com,and please let Stacy know when you register if you need childcare! Proceeds benefit the Crisis Fund.

Pot-Luck Breakfast – Our end of the year Sunday School Celebration and Pot-Luck Breakfast is Sunday, May 18.  Plan to join us in the parish hall at 9:00 am to recognize our wonderful students, teachers and parents, to hear a little about how Godly Play is working for our children, and to enjoy good food and fellowship!

Cursillo Retreat June 19–22 at Toddhall. This opportunity to grow in our Christian faith is led by lay persons and includes talks, reflection, song, group activities, worship, fun, and fellowship. Spiritual counseling with clergy is also available.
