RECTOR’S FORUM THIS MORNING: Fr. Dale continues his study on Revelation this Sunday with chapters 4 and 5 on the worship John watches taking place in heaven. These two great chapters on worship are all of and introduce what is central to our faith in God and the Lamb! Everyone is invited to attend!

LAMBETH BIBLE STUDY: The Lambeth Bible Study, a meditative approach to scripture study, continues each Sunday at St. George’s during the education hour. The Lambeth method seeks to help participants relate the Bible to their daily lives, to hear God’s voice and to grow in their relationship with Christ. The group meets in the conference room, downstairs in the parish house, at 9:15. If an experiential encounter with Scripture appeals to you, please join us!
2014 PLEDGE CARDS are still being accepted! Cards are available on the small table in the Canterbury Room and can be placed in the offering plate, given to an usher or sent to the church office.
A JOINT THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Peace Lutheran Church, 1209 Royal Heights Rd., Belleville, is hosting this year. We will be joined by members from St. Mark Lutheran and Calvary Lutheran.
Everyone is invited to attend.
THE 2014 ALTAR FLOWER AND SANCTUARY CANDLE sponsorship calendars are posted on the round kiosk in the Parish Hall this morning. The cost to sponsor flowers is $40 and the cost to sponsor the light is $5. Please be sure to indicate the event / person you are honoring or memorializing. Payment can be made in advance and please indicate “flowers” or “candle” on the memo line of your check.
THE ANGEL TREE will be in the Canterbury Room starting next Sunday. St. George’s Community Service Commission is, once again, working with Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois to help brighten the Christmas season for the children and families served by LCFS. Watch for additional information about the Angel Tree in next Sunday’s bulletin and the December newsletter.

AN ALL CHURCH CLEANING DAY has been scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2013 beginning around 9:00 a.m. Members of the St. Margaret’s Altar Guild will be on hand to give focus to the tasks that need to be completed.
