Announcements for November 10

RECTOR’S FORUM THIS MORNING: Fr. Dale will teach on Revelation, chapter 4. This chapter shows that the most important part of the Christian faith is worship. For two thousand years, Christians around the world have worshiped God as shown in the Eucharistic worship of this chapter. Fr. Dale will speak about the poverty of Christian worship in the United States today.

SCOUTS FOOD DRIVE: The Boy Scouts will hold their annual fall food drive on Saturday, November 16. Help is needed to sort and box the food that comes in, which will begin around 8:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The more hands to help the sooner the work gets done, so please mark your calendar if you are able to participate. Contact George Evans for additional information.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE to turn in your 2014 Pledge Card. Cards are available on the small table in the Canterbury Room and can be placed in the offering plate, given to an usher or sent to the church office.
