Announcements for November 3

IN THE RECTOR’S FORUM THIS MORNING, Fr. Dale continues in Revelation, chapter 3. The visions of St. John the Divine about the states of the several churches he oversees in what is now Turkey are at issue in this chapter.

ST. GEORGE’S STEWARDSHIP INGATHERING is today. “All things come from thee O Lord, and of thine own have we given thee.” This is the time to consider your financial pledge of support. Extra pledge cards are available on the small table in the Canterbury Room.

THE LAMBETH BIBLE STUDY resumes this morning at 9:15 a.m. in the conference room. All who are interested are invited to attend.

SCOUTS FOOD DRIVE: The Boy Scouts will hold their annual fall food drive on Saturday, November 16. Help is needed to sort and box the food that comes in, which will begin around 8:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The more hands to help the sooner the work gets done, so please mark your calendar if you are able to participate.

NOTE: The Godly Play Sunday School classes originally scheduled to off on Sunday, November 10 will be held that day.

A JOINT THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Peace Lutheran Church, 1209 Royal Heights Rd., Belleville, is hosting this year. We will be joined by members from St. Mark Lutheran and Calvary Lutheran.
Everyone is invited to attend.

AN ALL CHURCH CLEANING DAY has been scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2013 beginning around 9:00 a.m. Members of the St. Margaret’s Altar Guild will be on hand to give focus to the tasks that need to be completed. Everyone who is able to help is invited to do so.
