A COFFEE HOUR COORDINATOR IS NEEDED to ensure the continuance of the fellowship enjoyed by members and visitors alike after service s each Sunday. Responsibilities of the coordinator includes maintaining the list of coffee hour volunteers and ensuring a ready supply of coffee, cookies, napkins and other miscellaneous stock is available each week, Those interested can contact Tom Boschert or the church office.

THE AUGUST EDITION OF THE newsletter will go out at the end of this month, which means the deadline for submission of articles is fast approaching. Articles and other information should be submitted to the church office by Friday, July 20 or can be submitted directly to Dragon Editor, Tom Boschert, at STGDragon@gmail.com no later than Sunday, July 22, 2012.
FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: Canned fruit, tuna (and other canned meat), Jello, dried milk, muffin mix, spaghetti & sauce and boxes of macaroni & cheese, toiletries (soap, deodorant, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, etc,). Plastic and paper grocery bags are also needed. Any contribution of food, paper product, or toiletries will be accepted and are greatly appreciated!
HELP WANTED: Volunteers are needed with lawn maintenance for the month of July. Contact Joe Hooten at 235-7290 to help.
THE SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE benefitting the Franklin Neighborhood Association begins today and runs through Sunday, August 12. Purchased items can be dropped by the church office during the week, or can be placed in the Canterbury Room on Sunday. Backpacks (no wheels,), glue, glue sticks, scotch tape, safety scissors, Crayola markers and crayons, colored pencils, Play dough, #2 & mechanical pencils, ballpoint pens (red, black, blue), highlighters, coloring & activity books, 8-color watercolor sets, art & supply boxes, dry erase markers, hand sanitizer, tissues, Dixie cups, wet wipes, Skittles, M&Ms, Goldfish & Animal crackers, disinfectant wipes, gallon and sandwich Ziplock bags, pocket folders, single subject sprial notebooks, composition notebooks, rulers, clear protractors, wide-ruled loose leaf paper, Post-it notes, reams of white copy paper, 3-ring binders, small pencil sharperners with lids, napkins, TI 30xa Scientific Calculators.
