The parish office will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 and Friday, Dec. 30. The week after Christmas the office will closed at noon. No Eucharist on Wednesday Dec. 28. Fr. Dale will be on vacation the week after Christmas. Pr. Ron Neustadt will be our guest celebrant on Jan. 1- The Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus.
ST. GEORGE’S ADULT FORUM, Fr. Dale will present the third in a series of Forums on Liturgical worship. Last Sunday, the topic was “snapshots” of Christian worship as found in the New Testament, and the early Church. Today he will discuss why we have Liturgical worship, and why we can not just make up whatever we want! Jesus’ command to do the Eucharist, the great gift of Jesus’ at the Last Supper, is the way over 95% of Christians worship every Sunday. What is the Eucharist all about? What does it mean?
STEWARDSHIP The “official” Ingathering was Nov. 13. Thank you to all who submitted their pledges. For those who haven’t, it’s not too late. Please place your pledge card in the collection plate or send it to the church office. This helps us do a better job with developing next year’s budget.

2012 FLOWER CHART IS POSTED ON THE KIOSK IN THE PARISH HALL. The cost of the altar flowers is $40. Altar flowers can be given in memory of a loved one or occasion of celebration. Open dates on the chart: Feb. 12; July 8, 29; Sept. 2, 16, 30; Oct. 14; Nov. 25 & Dec. 30.
Parishioners are reminded that contributions or pledge payments must be postmarked by Saturday December 31 to qualify for a 2011 tax deduction.
