THE ALTAR FLOWERS are given by Charles & Diane Laedlein in celebration of their son Robert’s birthday.

THE SANCTUARY LIGHT is lit today to the Glory of God by Sheri & David Welch in memory of Helen Rose.

WELCOME DEACON JODY COLEMAN AS OUR PREACHER.  The Bishop has assigned Jody to St. George’s.  Deacons assist liturgically by reading the Gospel, setting the table, distributing communion bread, cleaning the communion vessels, and giving the closing dismissal.  Please give her time to get used to us.

GOOD NEWS! CHURCH SCHOOL MEETS AT 9:00 AM IN THE CHAPEL.  After the opening the students will go to the classrooms with their teachers.

TODAY AT THE ADULT FORUM, AT 9:15 AM,  FR. DALE will conclude teaching on the Apocalyptic Visions in Daniel 10-12. Were the prophecies of Daniel fulfilled at that time? Or did fulfillment come with Jesus, who called himself “The Son of Man”?

STEWARDSHIP.  Did you know that about 10% of the Gospel verses focus on money?  Please consider your financial support that enables the multitude of ministries provided through our parish here at St. George’s.  You should be receiving a Letter and pledge card in the mail.  The formal “Ingathering” (turn-in of pledge cards) is scheduled for November 13, 2011. If you do not receive a pledge card or have questions, please ask any Vestry member or Father Dale.

THE FOOD PANTRY IS RUNNING LOW ON SUPPLIES, they especially need Pork & Beans, Soup and Paper Bags at this time.

Please mark your calendar for SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, THE BOY SCOUT FOOD DRIVE. The pantry could use help sorting the food

2012 FLOWER CHART IS POSTED ON THE KIOSK IN THE PARISH HALL.  The cost of the altar flowers is $40.  Altar flowers can be given in memory of a loved one or occasion of celebration.

HEALING PRAYER – At each service, after communion, a prayer team is available for private healing prayer.  The team is located at the chairs on the left side of the Church.

2012 EPISCOPAL LITURGICAL CALENDARS are available in the Church Office. Cost is $3.

MEALS ON WHEELS needs a driver on Tuesdays during one week in the odd-numbered months.  If you are interested in doing this or substituting at other times, please call Frank Rogers 277-1406.
