THE ALTAR FLOWERS are given today to the glory of God by Frank Rogers in loving memory of his parents, Eddy & Mildred Rogers.

AT THE ADULT FORUM TODAY AT 9:10 AM there will be a presentation explaining The Order of St. Luke given by members of the Healing Prayer Team.

 WEDG (Women’s Ecumenical Dining Group) will be gathering at Outback Restaurant on Monday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. Please make reservations by calling the church office, 233-6320. Come for good fun, good food, and good conversation.

HELP HELP !! LETTER CARRIERS FOOD DRIVE – May 14.  Help is needed to sort the food for the pantry.  If you can help, please come to the Main Post Office in Belleville around 10:00 am to help sort the food and bring it back to the church for storage.  If you can help, please call the office 233-6320 or Food Pantry Coordinator George Evans, 398-8250.  Many hands will make the task go faster.

St. George’s Community Outreach Commission Sponsors 2011 FNCA Send a Kid to Camp. $50 will help Send a Kid to the Franklin Neighborhood Community Association Summer Camp Program for 8 weeks, June 6th  – July 29th,  (Actual cost is $200.00 per child).FNCA is a not for profit organization that focuses primarily on positive alternatives for youth.  Two camps will be conducted, and we anticipate 100% enrollment of 200 students.  A variety of recreational, educational and life skill programs will be offered.  In addition, forty of these campers will arrive a 10:30 a.m. for tutoring. Donations of any size will help pay for the cost of hiring college students to supervise activities, camper scholarships and personnel costs, and funds to purchase camp supplies, activities and busses for transportation. Please take an envelope from the tree in the Canterbury Room, make check payable to St. George’s Episcopal Church, notate FNA: Send a Kid to Camp; place in offering plate.  Collections will be throughout May; we will send Franklin Neighborhood Association a check the First of June.

A long gold wired earring was lost at Charles Todd’s Memorial Service.  If anyone found the earring, please call the office.
