THE ALTAR FLOWERS are given today to the glory of God by Ann Dunn in memory of Malcolm Sr., and Anna Hunter, Marce.

THE SANCTUARY LIGHT is lit today to the glory of God by Carol Ludwick in celebration of anniversaries of JJ & Lisa and Darrell & Lindsay.

TODAY at 9:10 am in the Parish Hall the ADULT FORUM will be led by

Chuck Evans discussing the status of the Diocesan Search for our next bishop.


Fr. Dale will be installed as our new Rector.  Please come to this special service.

HOLY EUCHARIST AND HEALING SERVICE is in the chapel at 9:30 am celebrated every Wednesday. EVENING PRAYER is read on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm in the church. This quiet prayer service is led by Fr. Dale.

ULTREYA ON SATURDAY, JULY 10, at 2:30 pm. Eucharist service is in the chapel, followed in the Parish Hall with Christian gathering, Cursillo grouping, witness. POTLUCK MEAL at 4:15 pm – bring whatever you wish.

THE BOOK CLUB will be tackling Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom TODAY at 4:30 pm in the Parish Hall.

REMINDER: Next Sunday, July 4, is FOOD OR OTHER DONATIONS SUNDAY.  Food given can be placed in the Canterbury Room, and will be brought to the altar along with the communion bread and wine.

THE WEDG (Women’s Ecumenical Dining Group) will be going oriental for this summer’s dining on Wednesday, July 14, at 6:30 pm. We will be gathering at Sakura Hibachi Sushi Bar in O’Fallon, 1334 Central Park Dr. (632-8886) southwest of 15 Cinema on the same side of the street, off Hartman Lane.  We will be at hibachi tables watching the chefs prepare our food right before our eyes!   Please call the office, 233-6320, for reservations (headcount).  A le menu is in the Canterbury Rm.  Come for good fun, good food & conversation.

ST. MICHAELS’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH would like to invite St. George’s children ages 4-10 to join them the week of July 26-30 from 5:30-8:30 pm for Vacation Bible School. They will use the David C. ST. MARK LUTHERAN CHURCH in Belleville, IL is seeking a part-time Director of Music to rehearse and direct both voice and handbell choirs; working closely with an accomplished, supportive organist.  Excellent acoustics.  A full job description can be obtained by emailing a request to: smlc@sbcglobal.net.
