THE ALTAR FLOWERS are given today to the glory of God by Frank Rogers in memory of Mr. & Mrs. Eddy Rogers.

THE SANCTUARY LIGHT is lit today to the glory of God by Kathy and Ed Parsons in celebration of family anniversaries.

ADULT FORUM: Fr. Dale continues his teaching on the Apostolic Church in Acts 18:  “Paul reaches Corinth – a lively place with Sailors!”

The Adult Forum meets at 9:10 am in the Parish Hall on Sundays. Bring your Bibles!

The open plate offering on the first Sunday of each month is designated for the Clergy Discretionary Funds.

EVENING PRAYER on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm in the church.

THE LETTER CARRIERS FOOD DRIVE is scheduled for next SATURDAY, MAY 8. If you can help sort the food that afternoon beginning at 1:30 pm, please call George Evans, cell 541-9956.

ASCENSION DAY, THURSDAY, MAY 13 – Joint service with St. Mark Lutheran and Peace Lutheran churches at 7:00 pm.  It will be an Episcopal service and Pr. Ron Neustadt of St. Mark will be the preacher.

GRAN TORINO: Our movie nights continue with Clint Eastwood’s provocative, hilarious — and very Christian — film. We gather at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 16, in the parish hall. Discussion over supper will follow the movie.

THE ADULT FORUM on Pentecost Sunday, May 23, will explore the possibility of organizing mission trips for parishioners who seek this means of spiritual growth. Please plan to attend and bring your ideas and interests.

THE BOOK CLUB will be doing Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom at our next meeting on June 27th at 4:30 in the parish hall.

CARE AND COUNSELING, a professional counseling service in the Metro-East, now has office hours at St. George’s on Mondays from 3:30 to 7:00 pm.  For an appointment with therapist, John Perry, call Care and Counseling in St. Louis at (314) 878-4340.
