TODAY, at 9:10 am ADULT FORUM, A break after Acts 10. “Centurians Come to Faith in Jesus:  Roman Military Armor” by re-enactment enthusiast Dave Lavely.

THE SANCTUARY LIGHT is lit today to the glory of God by Shirley Helber in celebration of her son, Dallas’ birthday.

THE OPEN PLATE OFFERING on the first Sunday of each month is designated for the Clergy Discretionary Funds.

MOVIE NIGHT: “Jesus Christ Superstar”will be shown on Saturday, Mar. 13, at 4:30 pm in the Parish Hall followed by pizza, ending no later than 8:00 pm.  The Evangelism and Spiritual Growth Commissions are sponsoring new programs to reflect parishioners’ interests.  The movie will be shown on a big screen – thanks to Bob and Vicki Hall.

IT’s TIME TO SPRING FORWARD. The nation reverts to Daylight Saving Time next Sunday, Mar. 14.  Remember to set your clocks AHEAD ONE HOUR before you go to bed next Saturday, Mar. 13. Starting in 2007, daylight time begins in the U.S. on the 2nd Sunday in March and ends on the 1st Sunday in November.

THE FLORENCE MARTIN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE SOON.  This scholarship is open to members of St. George’s Church who will be attending college in the 2010-2011.  The award is $1500.  The application can be downloaded from the St. George’s web sit and is also available at the church office.  All submitted materials must be postmarked by Monday, March 15.

EVENING PRAYER on Wednesday evenings will start in the Easter Season on April 14 at 5:30 pm in the church.

AGAPE CHRISTIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL is scheduled for April 30-May 2. We will take a group.  Tickets are $45 until April 16, and $65 at the gate.  Contact Dana Meyer, 539-3742, or Brian Maves, 624-8351.

KNITTING/CROTCHET CLASSES: There have been inquiries re classes to learn to knit or crotchet to participate in the Prayer Shawl Ministry.  If enough interest, classes will get started.  Sign up during March in the Canterbury Rm., or in the Parish Hall on the Kiosk.
