THE SANCTUARY LIGHT is lit today to the glory of God by Sheri and David Welch in memory of Ray Welch.

TODAY we will be using the JOY SONG BOOK.  Please pick up one from the ushers at the beginning of the service, and at the end of the service return it to the cart in the Canterbury Room.  Thank You.

CARE AND COUNSELING, a professional counseling service in the Metro-East, now has office hours at St. George’s on Mondays from 3:30-7:00 pm. For an appointment with therapist, John Perry, call Care and Counseling in St. Louis at (314) 878-4340.

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR MARCH NEWSLETTER located in the Canterbury Room.

NEXT SUNDAY, MAR. 7, is FOOD OR OTHER DONATIONS SUNDAY.  Food given can be placed in the Canterbury Room, and will be brought to the altar along with the communion bread and wine. FOOD PANTRY is in need of can fruit,  canned meat, etc., but especially fruit.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR HELPERS FOR THE SOUP SUPPERS. Soup makers, bread and relish providers and folks to set up and clean up. Soup suppers will be held Thursday evenings Mar. 4- Mar. 25 at 6:00 pm.

THE FLORENCE MARTIN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE SOON.  This scholarship is open to members of St. George’s Church who will be attending college in the 2010-2011.  The award is $1500.  The application can be downloaded from the St. George’s web site and is also available at the church office.  All submitted materials must be postmarked by Monday, March 15.

EVENING PRAYER on Wednesday evenings will start in the Easter Season on April 14 at 5:30 pm in the church.

AGAPE CHRISTIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL is scheduled for April 30-May 2. We will take a group.  Tickets are $45 until April 16, and $65 at the gate.  Contact Dana Meyer, 539-3742, or Brian Maves, 624-8351.
