Mar. 26 thru Apr. 2. Soup Supper at 6:00 pm. Fr. Dale will be the presenter beginning at 6:45 for the soup supper programs, exploring the nature of the church and its sacraments. How does God work in and through the church? How does He come to us in baptism, eucharist, confirmation, ordination, marriage, reconciliation and unction? What does it mean to be the Body of Christ? The program will conclude by 7:30 pm.

LENTEN SPECIAL OFFERINGS FOR 2009 (Soup suppers,  Mite Boxes) will go to help Deacon Suzanne with her Seminary expenses.

ADULT FORUM – 9:10 am – Parish Hall

ENVELOPES FOR EASTER FLOWERS will be in the pews today.  Please return the envelope to the church office by Monday, April 5, to be included in the Easter bulletin.  If remembering loved ones, please mark the proper name along with your own on the envelope.


ULTREYA at St. George’s on Fri., Apr. 3, 6:30 pm, in the Parish Hall.  An Ultreya is a witness among Christians for people who wish to learn more about Cursillo.  Cursillistas are to bring snacks to share.


AGAPE MUSIC FESTIVAL IS MAY 1-2. Cost is $20, if received before Fri., Apr. 17.  After Apr. 17 tickets may be purchased at the gate for $50. For info contact Brian Maves, 624-8351, or Dana Meyer, 539-3742.

CHURCH CAMP APPLICATION 2009 CHURCH CAMP Sun. , Jun. 28 to Sat., Jul. 4. Applications are available in the church office.  All applications must be postmarked by Jun. 1. Early Bird Discount Camper fees, paid in full and postmarked by May 1, can deduct $10 from fees.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2009 FLORENCE MARTIN SCHOLARSHIP are now available in the church office.  The scholarship is available to St. George’s members for the purpose of attending college, seminaries, nursing or medical school.
