St. George’s Purpose: to love and serve the Lord and our neighbors as ourselves.
Parish Goals:
- Worship: To continue to provide opportunities for the worship of God and to explore new forms in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer, in ways that meet a variety of needs.
- Evangelism: To make evangelism — the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ — the first priority of all parish programs.
- Growth in Christ: To nurture formation in the new life in Christ through education, service and fellowship to the limits of our facilities and resources.
- Community service: To continue our current support of community programs and to identify and respond to new opportunities for service in our neighborhoods and the Belleville area.
- Stewardship: To be good stewards of our time, talent and treasure, and to manage wisely all that God has blessed us with.
