Dale will teach about our  heritage as Anglicans &amp; Episcopalians using slides, and the book  he edited (available in St. George&#8217;s Gift Shop), Archbishop Michael  Ramsey&#8217;s <em>The Anglican Spirit</em>.  The book was originally published  in 1991, &amp; re-published by the Episcopal Church&#8217;s &#8220;Church Publishing&#8221;  as a Seabury classic in 2004.  It includes a Foreword by the present  Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.  The revised schedule  with expanded subjects:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:small;"><strong>Nov. 8</strong>:    Victorian England – Oxford Movement and the impact of Darwin.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:small;"><strong>Further note</strong>:   Our Parish Library holds many wonderful classics for Episcopalians,  and it would reward anyone to look over our collection.  There  is no better introduction to the Christian Faith than Bishop N. T. Wright&#8217;s <em> Simply Christian</em>.   C. S. Lewis&#8217; <em>Mere Christianity</em> is a great classic from WWII.  A 3rd book is Alister McGrath&#8217;s <em> I Believe.</em> The latter two authors are from Northern Ireland.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:small;"><strong>THE 2010 FLOWER CHART </strong> is available on the KIOSK in the Parish Hall.  Altar flowers may  be donated in memory of a loved one or occasion of celebration, and  cost is $40.  Donations may be shared with others.  If no  one signs up for altar flowers the Altar Guild pays for them.   Sanctuary light list is also posted -cost is $5.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:x-small;"><strong>NAMES OF DECEASED LOVED  ONES </strong>will be published on <strong>All Saints</strong> <strong>Day, Sun., Nov. 1</strong>.   Parishioners should give names to the office by <strong>Tues.,</strong> <strong>Oct.  27.</strong> Cards are in the pews.  All Saints Day is the day  to honor those who have passed on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:x-small;"><strong>NEXT SUNDAY, NOV. 1, </strong> is Food or Other Donations Sunday.  Food given can be placed in  the Canterbury Rm., &amp; will be brought to the altar along with the  communion bread and wine.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:x-small;"><strong>THE  2010 FLOWER CHART </strong>is available on the KIOSK in the Parish Hall.   Altar flowers may be donated in memory of a loved one or occasion of  celebration and cost is $40.  Donations may be shared with others.   If no one signs up for altar flowers the Altar Guild pays for them.   Sanctuary light list is also posted, cost is $5.</span></p>

Dale will teach about our  heritage as Anglicans &amp; Episcopalians using slides, and the book  he edited (available in St. George&#8217;s Gift Shop), Archbishop Michael  Ramsey&#8217;s <em>The Anglican Spirit</em>.  The book was originally published  in 1991, &amp; re-published by the Episcopal Church&#8217;s &#8220;Church Publishing&#8221;  as a Seabury classic in 2004.  It includes a Foreword by the present  Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.  The revised schedule  with expanded subjects;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:x-small;"><strong>Further note</strong>:   Our Parish Library holds many wonderful classics for Episcopalians,  and it would reward anyone to look over our collection.  There  is no better introduction to the Christian Faith than Bishop N. T. Wright&#8217;s <em> Simply Christian</em>.   C. S. Lewis&#8217; <em>Mere Christianity</em> is a great classic from WWII.  A 3rd book is Alister McGrath&#8217;s <em> I Believe.</em> The latter 2 authors are from Northern Ireland.</span></p>
