WE WELCOME THE RT. REV. PETER H. BECKWITH, Bishop of Springfield, and Mrs. Beckwith (Melinda). Bishop Beckwith will be our celebrant and preacher today at the 10:30 am service. The open offering is designated for his discretionary fund in the envelope provided. After the 10:30 service there will be a reception honoring the Bishop and the confirmands.

THE WEDG (WOMEN’S ECUMENICAL DINING GROUP): All women (18 and older) are invited to Outlaw Blues Restaurant, O’Fallon, on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:30 pm. It is located at 1214 Central Park Drive, between Greenmount Crossing and the 15 Cine. Please call the office, 233-6320, for a head count.
ASCENSION DAY, THURSDAY, MAY 21, will be celebrated at 7:00 pm with a joint service in the church with St. Mark Lutheran and Peace Lutheran. We will use the Lutheran liturgy. Fr. Dale will give the homily. An ice cream social will be held after the service.
CHURCH CAMP APPLICATION 2009 CHURCH CAMP, Sun., Jun. 28, to Sat., Jul. 4. Applications are available in the church office. All applications must be postmarked by Jun. 1.
