THE SANCTUARY LIGHT is lit today to the glory of God by Brian and Nancy Kuehnl in celebration of their grandson Jacob’s first birthday.

REMINDER;  Next Sunday. Dec. 7, is FOOD OR OTHER DONATIONS Sunday.  Food given can be placed in the Canterbury Room and will be brought to the altar along with the communion bread and wine.

REMEMBER NEWSLETTER IS IN THE CANTERBURY ROOM.  PLEASE TAKE YOUR COPY HOME.

WEDG will be gathering at Fischer’s Restaurant at 2100 W. Main for its annual Advent dinner, scheduled for Thurs., Dec. 4, 6:30 pm, open to all women, 18 and above.  Order off the menu. Call for reservations to the church, 233-6320, by Mon., Dec. 1, to allow for an accurate headcount.

ANNUAL BOOKSTORE CHRISTMAS SALE will be next Sun., Dec. 7, after both services in the Parish Hall.  All proceeds go toward outreach projects in the parish or diocese.

ULTREYA, ULTREYA!  The Darrow Deanery Cursillo will have an Ultreya at St. Michael’s Church, O’Fallon, on the 2nd Friday of the month, Dec. 12, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

GIFT/TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS – Christmas Tree Poster is in the Canterbury Rm. with ornaments for needy children’s Christmas wishes.  Please take an ornament home and bring back wrapped gifts by Sunday Dec. 14. Lutheran Child and Family Services will be distributing the gifts.

MEMORIAL ENVELOPES for holiday greenery are in the pews and must

be returned by Wed., Dec. 17 for names to be included in the bulletins.

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL MATERIAL can be picked up in back of the church.
