SUNDAY SCHOOL HAS BEGUN! Our youngsters meet every Sunday in the chapel at 9:00 am before going with their teachers to class at 9:10. The Adult Forum will meet in the Parish Hall at 9:15. This week is the conclusion of the study of Mark’s Gospel led by Fr. Dale.

JOINT THANKSGIVING SERVICE will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, Belleville, IL 6606 W. Main, on Wed., Nov. 26, at 7:00 pm
PIES, PIES, PIES – The youth will be making them on Wed., Nov. 26. They will be ready for pickup after 5:00 pm that evening. Order forms are in the Canterbury Room or on the kiosk. You can also call Dana Meyer at 539-3742. Choices include pumpkin, pecan, pumpkin surprise, double layer pumpkin, chocolate chip pecan, cherry, and apple. Prices are $10 to $12.
YOUNG AND OLD – Please come next Sunday, Nov. 30, at 9:00 am for an Intergenerational Event in the Parish Hall. We will be making and decorating Christmas goodie bags for people in nursing homes.

WEDG will be gathering at Fischer’s Restaurant for its annual Advent dinner, scheduled for Thurs., Dec. 4, 6:30 pm, open to all women, 18 and above. Order off the menu. Fischer’s is at 2100 W. Main, 233-1131. Call for reservations to the church, 233-6320, by Mon., Dec. 1, to allow for an accurate headcount. Come for good fun, good food, and good conversation!
ANNUAL BOOKSTORE CHRISTMAS SALE will be on Sun., Dec. 7, after both services in the Parish Hall. All proceeds go toward outreach projects in the parish or diocese.
ULTREYA, ULTREYA! The Darrow Deanery Cursillo will have an Ultreya at St. Michael’s Church, O’Fallon, on the 2nd Friday of the month, Dec. 12, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

GIFT/TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS – Christmas Tree Poster is in the Canterbury Room containing ornament with needy children’s Christmas wishes. Please take an ornament home and bring back wrapped gifts by Sunday Dec. 14. Lutheran Child and Family Services of Belleville will be distributing the gifts.
MEMORIAL ENVELOPES for holiday greenery are in the pews and must be returned by Wed., Dec. 17 for names to be included in the Christmas bulletins.
